ReplyDeleteI am a flight attendant for American Airlines, the day after 9-11-01 the Apfa union of fight attendants began the best contract the flight attendants have ever had. It lasted a very short time because American Airlines claimed we would go into backruptsy if the unions of the airline did not take significant pay cuts. We all took paycuts that ended up being 1/3 of all of ouor pay, not to mention work rules that we have been forced to be govern by for the past 7 years. That being said the three major unions of American Airlines are in the final stages of contract negotiations...the fight attendants have asked to be realease for self help (strike)...my question is if we the flight attendants get a good contract will we see another mass murder on the airlines so the companies can claim they can't afford to pay us....if you want to uncover major corruption look into the negotations of American Airlines and their unions, 9-11 save the airlines billions of dollars which went into the pockets of the upper managment, I'm scared for my life.
