I like Ryan and I have to agree with him. I like Sam Harris and Christopher Hitchens(RIP) the Atheists, but I abhor Sam Harris and Christopher Hitchens the Neo-Con apologists. Neo-cons and Jihadists are very similar indeed. They both lament a certain degradation of societal values (or their version thereof) as a result of "too much" freedom.

I expected Ryan to differentiate between Nationalist/Political Zionism and Judaism the religion, but he didn't. He perpetuates the norm of glomming the two together despite the facts to the contrary. Point of fact the "Torah Jews" opposed to the state of Israel. Now I know some die-hard's will insist that the Torah Jews are shills or disinfo or whatever, but real scholarship reveals the truth on that matter. It works to the Zionists advantage and serves their agenda to be lumped with the Jews, but to do so is to be in folly. One must resist the temptation to make broad generalizations about Jews, Muslims, Christians, Atheists, Truthers, or any body politic. Do not let the bad apples spoil the bunches. This only works to the advantage of the real enemies of civilization and harmony.
